Nessie is a name synonymous with Scotland.... of course referring to the Loch Ness Monster! The first ever recorded sighting of the beast was in 565AD by St. Columba, and since then there have been hundreds of reported sightings (albeit with limited evidence to support it!). Our favourite attempt in coaxing Nessie to the surface was in 1975 when four firemen built a 309 foot long papier-mâché 'lady monster', equipped with it's own recorded mating call, false eye lashes and a full face of make-up! Sadly Nessie was not tempted...
Loch Ness is deeper than the North Sea, so it is quite plausible that there are secrets lurking down still awaiting discovery. That being said, some Nessie related investigating gives a great excuse to do some wild camping on the shores!

All of our leggings are hand made in the UK. Because they are hand made, they are created with care and love every time. Check out our Supplier page to see which extra measures are taken to reduce the carbon footprint of our manufacturing process.
Our leggings are created using recycled nylon blended with elastane (78% PA, 22% EA). Econyl recycled nylon is made from recycled sea waste including fishing nets, industrial plastic, and carpet samples... amazing right?!
Technical Carbon Footprint
The carbon footprint below is an estimate based on CO2 produced during the Econyl fabric production process. Recycled nylon reduces the global warming impact of the production process by about 90% compared to virgin nylon... this is because recycled nylon is not reliant on fossil fuels. Not only that, we save around 115,000kg of CO2 per flight by keeping our manufacturing in the UK, compared to most common textile manufacturing which takes place in developing countries!
