Bhéara is a Goddess derived from Gaelic mythology, and is commonly associated with creating landscapes and the weather. She was often referred to as the Queen of Winter, and was thought to be responsible for Scotland's cold winters (although Ghillied leggings are a perfect defence against the weather!). The giantess had white hair, dark blue skin, and is credited with creating Scotland's mountains when she dropped rocks out of her wicker basket... Ben Nevis was said to be her throne!

Materials
Our leggings are created using recycled nylon blended with elastane (78% PA, 22% EA). Econyl recycled nylon is made from recycled sea waste including fishing nets, industrial plastic, and carpet samples... amazing right?!
Technical Carbon Footprint
The carbon footprint below is an estimate based on CO2 produced during the Econyl fabric production process. Recycled nylon reduces the global warming impact of the production process by about 90% compared to virgin nylon... this is because recycled nylon is not reliant on fossil fuels. Not only that, we save around 115,000kg of CO2 per flight by keeping our manufacturing in the UK, compared to most common textile manufacturing which takes place in developing countries!
